Most camcorders in Europe have AV in disabled otherwise they would be classed as VCRs and would be in a higher tax bracket (or whatever, this is just something I read).

Me and Zimma were looking at getting a helmet cam set up once, but it never happened Confused

Yes, it's a pain isn't it. I've found some which have it (and am buying one shortly) - there are maybe 5 models of DV cam under £500 which do.

Just waiting for my Egg card to come through, cos Mr Visa's not talking to me at the moment Very Happy

Even though most dv camcorders have their input disabled - most have a crack to disable them fairly easily though! Laughing

We've yet to find a bullet camera that'll use the DV in function tho - my DVL9500's hackable, but the camera needs an analogue in Sad
