French Motogp tickets

As its not too far from the ferry ports in France for me, I've decided to pop along to it. I was wondering though if anyone on here knows of a site where they sell reasonably priced tickets. First prices I had a look at were about £125 for grandstand tickets.

Also if anyone's been before could you recommend a good place to stay near there. I'll prob. go over on the 19th May and return on the 22nd May. (that's if I can get a ferry booked as so far on Brittany ferries they seem all booked up )

I think pretty much all bike places on ferries from Portsmouth have been booked for the Thursday & Friday. You may be able to get a space for travel on the Wednesday - I went to Cherbourg on the Wednesday last year.

I left it late this year (end of Jan) and have to ride to Poole for a crossing, when I only live 5 miles from Portsmouth.

You could see if there are any spaces on the Fast Craft (vomit comet) to Cherbourg as Brittany Ferries are advertising cheap fares until the end of May.

As for tickets... they should be 64 euros each. I'm getting mine at 57 euros from a contact in France.

Nah, both links are good. I was looking again this afternoon and although most were booked up just before and after the weekend, for the Tuesday before and Tuesday after it came to £100 return, which seemed a bit steep.
