So it looks like my test is going to be cancelled. It is booked for today at 3.27 but the wind is really strong here and the examiner has already cancelled all this mornings tests. The training school have sent me home and will call me at midday -ish to let me know the verdict.

I can't honestly see the wind dying down that much this afternoon, and am very aware that even if I get the go ahead at lunchtime that'll probably only give me a couple of hours on the bike before the test - bearing in mind I haven't ridden for a fortnight!

If it doesn't go ahead it will have cost me a day off work for nothing. And I will have to go through all the stress of the build up again.

I am gutted. Sodding British weather. Thumbs Down

Best of luck if it goes ahead. If it doesn't, and you find yourself waiting ages for another, remember that there may be other centres nearby that have earlier test dates.

I dont advise booking at another test centre unless you know the roads there well also. Its a bit of a disadvantage doing your test on unfamiliar roads. Fingers crossed you'll get the go-ahead today though Thumbs Up

I normally ride every day gemma to work and back, but today I felt like walking. My husband picked me up tonight on his bike and it was very windy coming back, reckon the decision for your test to be cancelled was the right thing. Not sure what the weather is supposed to be Friday but good luck Thumbs Up

Not advisable to take yr test in these weather conditions, better to be safe than sorry, it could totally shatter your confidence.

Good luck for the re-arranged test. Thumbs Up

PS my journey home was character building to say the least, constant side tacking!

Agreed it was not the day for doing a test, so probably for the best.

Hopefully you'll get a new date soon, it's worth the wait Wink

Gd Luck Thumbs Up
