So if i gave you £1250 + 50 pounds for delivery, would that seem reasonable?

have a current best offer of £1200 plus delivery costs, seeing as you are further away will depend if Phoenix is willing to drive that far.

I expect it will be over £50 in diseasel to scotland, depending upon where in scotland you are. care to pm me a localish to you postcode?

If she remains unsold after the end of the auction £1400 and she's yours delivered to your door.

i dont want to promise you anything just in case i doesn't work out, but i am quite willing to give it a good home. certainly better than selling it to the breakers. we'll see what happens in the next week or so

Doesn't seem like the ebay bids met your reserve. Is £1300 still the best offer you've gotten?

I have a few questions about the bike. Do you know the country where it was imported from? Also you said that its a five speed gearbox. Most of the nsr's i have seen come with a six speed gearbox. Do you know anything about that? Maybe any differences in the two bikes. If not than that's fine. And finally out of curiosity...what's the max speed you've gotten out of this bike. thanks

Hi,

I don't know how many gear the NSR has as I haven't ridden it for 6months, it will be identical to a uk, french, Italian etc one.

I rang Honda UK, they said the bike is origionally from Northern Europe most likely Germany.

Max speed I had once down a huge hill flat on the tank, 104 indicated mph with 2k rpm still to go before the redline.

Its just that on your ebay page you wrote that it has a five speed gearbox, which is a bit strange since i was told that all nsr's have six. so i was a bit confused and when i asked around i was told that it might be a mistake, or because the 6th was broken.

Also, is the bike derestricted? Have you ever had it derestricted?

From the top speed I think it is safe to say it is derestricted.

The gear option on the ebay listing is a drop down box I picked 5, its the same as any nsr, the gear box is gorgious on it, very nice. Alot better than my GPZ one.

that's kind of a shame because i need it as a learner bike. Can you get it back to being restricted, or did you have nothing to do with the derestriction in the first place?

Well i have no problem with riding an unrestricted bike on an L plate, but does the insurance company not check...
I am guessing you rode it unrestricted on an L plate as well then?

I did not, no as I had passed my test, however the guy before me did.

Lots of people on here do too.

Not entirely sure how the insurance company would check.
My insurance company have not asked me to prove my GPZ is 33bhp, even though she is.
Neutral

Like I said your license, /shrug/

Not final until the V5 is signed and I have full cash payment.

Winning bidder lives in coventry and is collecting 'subject to correct listing description'

I'll let you know if he doesn't pay

I guess I am, however I have told him, I have other offers,

Who ever comes with the cash first takes her away until I receive a 50% deposit from him to secure the bike.

He's paying £1400 and collecting her.
