Well? First time for me this year, after getting off to a bad start and getting lost on friday night when I was a bit tipsy I actually managed to enjoy myself. Most people appeared friendly and out for a good time etc.

I dont want to put a downer on it but a fair bit of it still annoyed me, (like £3 a pint Laughing ), but more seriously a few things confused me and others were just ridiculous.

Why do people sit in the pub at night, with their missus all dressed up, in a one piece race suit or similar? Shocked

Why did some feel the need to ride around the site without a helmet on, I understand that this is an individual choice but there were a few incidents I saw of that made me feel like a safety nazi..

1. Learner on an RS125, with pillion, without helmets revving the tits off it on the road outside the big tenty thing.

2. Bloke riding with carrier bag in his mouth!

3. Husband/wife without lids, she had them in her hand on the back of the bike Shocked

4. Idiot with his kid sat on the petrol tank while he rode about (no helmets again).

5. The best one for me was a guy riding with 1 kid on the tank, a kid behind him and then his missus right at the back, again none of which had helmets on Rolling Eyes Fair enough if the adult wants to bounce his skull of the deck then he is welcome to it but what about BOTH kids and his missus!!?

I was there. Enjoyed it but the ride there and back (I was a pillion) was terrible. I was in agony. Took 5 hours each way.

The only thing that annoyed me was in Jaks they messed up with the big screen for the GP.

Really enjoyed the Madonna tribute band and wall of death - those people are mental! Thumbs Up
