Another dumb ass question!

Now I have my background picture problem sorted, I have found a pic I'd like to have for a while....

But The picture is really grainy! I have got the right driver I think, well its the one I always use and its usually perfect! is there any settings anywhere I can play with!

And how do I change the backgrounds to my icons back to clear?

It should look like this

Instead I get this.......

Control Panel > Performance / Maintenance > Adjust Visual Effects

Tick use drop shadows on desktop icons. Thumbs Up

The picture is only 600x800 pixes, so it's stretched, hence the grainy edges.

Hey! I resized the pic using IrfanView to 1024x768 pixels so that it is not pixelated like on your desktop...try this and see if it is still pixelated.

Yep - you need to find a larger version of the picture, or reduce the resolution of your desktop to 800x600

Or if you prefer, I got rid of that sportbike logo on the top right hand corner. (if you look really carefully you can see where I cloned over it) but I hope it is ok mate.

Or you could just set the picture as centre if its to small to stretch.

IMO i like having a plain edge round the desktop for icon space Smile
