Rock n Blues 2006!

Ok folks, it's that time of year again - The band line up for the 2006 RnB has been anounced, not as good as last year unfortunatly but it should still be good.
Tickets are available now, either by post from The Outlaws, or via the usual rip off places like ticketmaster.
Myself and MrsHippy will be there as usual, and everyone is invited to join us in what will undoubtedly be another long drunk weekend

bands didnt do much for me, but tbh after last year i dont think they would top it

and im seeing aussie floyd twice this month (hopefully) anyway, so i can forgive that

Nah Hells Angel's should delay the Bulldog for me, ok they should delay it cos the weathers been bad last 2years... RnB is only fun if it's raining, well the mudslides were the best bit about it last time I went. Who knows, maybe next year my holiday dates will be different.

No it bloody didn't! That was the year we had to do an emergency dash to the nearest garden centre to buy bark chippings cos the stall was about 6" deep in mud........ And we also had to dig a drainage ditch round the back...... And I had possibly the scariest ride of my life past Hilton Park on the M6 going down with rain hitting the ground so hard it was bouncing higher than my head, all I could see were the lights of the wagon in front, was only doing about 20mph for about 5 miles til it stopped.

The year before that (2003) was a real scorcher, people passing out with sunstroke everywhere! Still got rained on going home on the Sunday though.

Won't be doing the RnB, the bands they have are too old even for me and I've just never fancied it tbh. I hope the sun shines on all of you that make it though!

I got there on Friday night after work and didn't see any rain. Distinctly remember baking in the RWYB queue on the Saturday.

i've always felt the RnB had a nicer more friendly atmosphere than BdB

and the drag racing has always been take it or leave it for me personally, naturally the unlimited runs does attract more louts to the weekend also

2003 was really hot at BdB (Zak stole all my sunspray stuff grr), 2004 I didn't go but took a ride down on the first day to see what turnout was like and I got totally soaked riding back, storm, HAIL everything, 2005 I wasn't in the country, but from what I hear it was also wet.

All being well, Annabella and I will be there again. We're booked on a BikeSafe ride on the 29th, so might have a little excursion for the afternoon, but other than that we're cool! \o/

I should be there again this year , be riding up with Ann & Jon & praying it's at least dry for the journey up cus I don't fancy having to ride through all that mud again!
