I just use normal polish! A quick wipe with some warm water to clean, and some polish to keep 'em shiny and waterproof.

I'm sure there will be some expensive and fancy alternatives though. Can't go wrong with polish in my opinion though!

I wipe off the road salt with a warm damp cloth,

I then use saddle soap/or boot polish liberally on the boots

mine are sidi Rain Evos I've had them 2 years in August and done...30 000km in them on the bike, but I wear them all day at college too,

they're still in good nick, though where eI kick a ball for my persistent springer spaniel the right boot is looking tatty, so requires more polish and attention that the rest of the boots...

I use Frank thomas boot polish, it was free and came with my jacket.

I also use Cherry blossom boot polish and regular saddle soap for horse tack on the odd occaision

Its easier if they're all more or less black.
Basically clean with damp cloth and/or dry brush, then use some sort of leather protection product such as nikwax to help keep them waterproof. 'Normal' shoe polish is OK but you have a problem if they have coloured panels.

Sprayed mine with NikWax when I bought them and reapply it about once a month now they just sponge off even when encrusted with salt.

Did my textile jacket with NikWax too last week, worked a treat.
