hi everyone ive got a 1993 honda nsr 125 i just put fresh 2 stroke oil into it and now it will rev up to 5000 revs then dies what could be the problem please help cheers

not quite sure what the problem is. but putting fresh 2 stroke oil in would not do that! 100% exaplain in more deatail and i might be able to help

At first guess I'd say it's the diaphragm in the fuel tap, or the vacuum pipe leading to it, leaking.
Fuel starvation is the result.

sorry i have not bought the bike yet i do not know much about the problem but i will find out ,this is just what i have been told,if anyone has any more ideas of what it could be please post them

has the bike been sitting un-used? if so, clean the carb.

hi thanks for all the ideas i asked the guy today if he knows the problem he said its something to do with the oil mixture something about it been to strong which is causing it to die ay 5000 rpm does this sound right or is he wrong

hi i have cleaned the carb out and cleaned the air filter and petrol is getting through from the petrol tank perfectly does anyone know wot could be causing it to only rev to 5000rpm cause i dont know wot it could be but also the plugs keep getting fouled up with oil could it be the oil causing the 5000rpm problem cheers Thumbs Up

having that file , look the sequence of valves openning and compare how your's work . your problem est certainly here
