Anti-slip matting under my arse, like the stuff they sell for pillions and panniers. My textile trousers seem mega slippy, and if I try a fast getaway from the lights I end up on the pillion seat without it. Laughing

Cheers, Alfie

My balls are made of steel. Somehow i was kicked in the nuts more than any other child i knew, and carrying a mobile in my pocket for 4 years or so has microwaved them nice and hard. So, you see i don't really feel pain there any more. To me it's just a fact of life that when i ride, my balls get squashed.

If i ever try and move my balls away from the tank, my jeans stay stuck to the seat, but i slide forward, meaning my jeans do all the squashing for me. There's no winning, but i am tempted to cut a hole in my seat in which to dangle my balls. It'd be kind of like teabagging my bike Shocked

grip the tank with your knees.. that should stop you sliding forward too much.

Change the vinyl on your seat to one with a more grippy texture. Problem solved!
If thou art too skint to afford a new seat cover, get thyself down to outdoor world and buy thyself some soft grippy anti slip matting (they sell enough for about 10 double seats for 9 quid) and wrap it around thy seat, tucking it between the seat and the bike frame. Problem temporarily solved!

I'm sure this can't be good, but if i'm riding around town i don't speed THAT much and just sort of lock my arms in place if i start sliding forward, slamming on the anchors at 200 km/h + fucking hurts!!! Bloody truckers! Laughing

Cant say i have this problem. I dont have a "tank" as such as the seat pretty much continues right up ontop of it. Another advantage of having a crosser Dance! . But i guess the anti slip stuff people are bangin on about would be a good idea. That or buy a crosser Razz

I never learn Embarassed

I hit my love spuds on the tank everytime, in exactly the same spot, on the same road. Its enough for me to back off the throttle and start huffing and puffing to myself.

I've tried gripping the tank more, sitting further back in the seat, but to no avail Confused

May have to start soaking them in vinegar to toughen them up a bit up:

In my last crash in which a car pulled out right in front of me resulting in both me and my bike going from 30 to 0 very quickly. I found out then what going over the handlebars really involves - forget the bars/screen/car..... it's fuel tank that does the damage!

Lying on the road after I first thought i'd broken my hip as the pain was indescribable - looked down and saw blood....

A certain minor operation had to be done a few months after that Embarassed
