What bike? 600cc cruiser, offroader, sportsbike?

I wouldn't use GTX Magnatec, as it's got special friction modifiers. Good for cars, but not for bikes.

I'd take the GTX back and see if you can exchange it for GPS, I was forced to use magnatec on my GPZ550 a few years back as temporary measure, and it caused the clutch to slip like a b**ch.

Most who have tried GTX have suffered from clutch slip, like Davo said see if they will exchange it.

I'd use any semi - synthetic bike specific oil from a recognised manufacturer. I personally use Rock Oil, but Castrol, Shell, Silkolene etc will all be just as good.

If you have got a Morrissons near you they sell halvoline extra for 8 quid. Semi synth and Ive run bikes on it for years now. Didnt make the clutch slip on my FJ1200 or GSXR1100.

I use Motul 5100 on the SV. I didn't have much choice really, it's part of the Gericke deal Smile
