I guess it's going to be a very hard choice. Does it have to be a sports bike? Because you'd definately feel more comfortable on a DT125 and it'll have the same amount of go as an NSR.

Having said that, my mate sheldon was 6"2 and he didn't look particularly out of place on an NSR125, and from following him, i can say that he rode it well.

Would you be willing to sacrifice comfort or pose value? I'd say get a DT125. Also, will this also be your first bike?

Well I'm 6ft 3ish, and I've just bought a Gilera Coguar... I don't have a problem with leg-room/positioning. My knees might sit up a bit higher than most, but it's still a very comfortable bike.

No one says I look out of place on it...

But being a crusier-style bike your knees sit highish anyway... sort of as if you're sitting on an armchair!

im 6 4 to fella and i can fit and ride my m8s rs 50, derbi gprr 50, nsr 125, rs 125 and a baby blade (nc 23) with no problems at all their all "small" bikes in size but their not to bad i jsut wouldnt fannce going a huge distance on any of them apart from the nsr and baby blade

and if you dont fanncy being quite so cramped on a geared 50/125 buy my cpi popcorn which has more then enough space not to get cramp

I would say get some thing like a dt 125, im 6ft2 and when I have sat on 125 sports bikes have thought they felt a bit small, but then that may just be because iv got used to having a large crosser style bike.

Cruiser will be a comfortable riding position for you, and is a great style bikes to have. Some new cruisers are beautiful looking - the yamaha and the motto guzzi being my favourite.

In due course, a touring style big bike might also suit you well.

Cheers Thumbs Up
