Front lights playing up

I have an NSR125R (1999), basically, i think one of my front bulbs has gone. But - today, both dipped headlights stopped working, as well as the sidelights but the main beam headlights were still working. I pushed all the connections on the wires together and one now i'm back to one dipped, one side, and two main beam headlights. Is there anything seriously wrong with my electrics, or just a bulb gone, and a coincidence that a connection came loose?

Have you checked the fuses?

My first car used to the same thing, where all the lights would die, and leave me with only main beam. Quite interesting when your driving down an quiet country lane.

the connections corrode...................badly.
remove, clean & make sure they fit securely, also may be worth checking the fuse & holder under the seat, they corrode and the wires come adrift too

The connections all look ok from what i can see, i must confess i haven't got a clue about electrics so my old mans coming round in the morning to give me a hand. Where are the fuses, and connections going to the front lights (just to be 100% sure!).

from my sons bike, the only fuse is under the seat near the battery, enclosed in a white cigar shaped tube with a red wire @ each end. Inside should be a glass 15A fuse and a spare, worth a look-see to be sure everythings fine.

Alright, cheers. I currently have no dip beam, no sidelights, but i do have main beam and rear lights. I'm going to check everything thoroughly tomorrow. Thanks for all the help.

Everyone can sleep easy at night,I have sorted it. Just a loose connection that i couldn't see without taking all of the fairings off!
