hi iam new here just a quick question would it be better to get a bike (50cc)and have a quick spin round the blocks and then do my cbt ?

Its sod's law that there will be a copper around the corner Crying or Very sad

You are gonna have to do your CBT sometime anyways to ride on the road, may as well get it over with.

When I did my CBT I'd never ridden a bike in my life and I was paired with a kid who's clearly been practicing in his back garden.

He was fine for all the carpark stuff but as soon as we got out on the roads the cockiness disappeared and he was messing up all over the place.

So, no, it's not really worth it.

Same thing here, and the cocky guy i was paired with had to go back for a second day as well. definitely not worth it.

Besides, that's what the CBT is there for - to teach you how to ride as well as the basics to get you by to start with. You'll be fine without the practise Thumbs Up
