R6 Chain & Sprockets?

Hello, my 02 R6 needs a new chain and front + rear sprockets. Iv decided i want nice tarty gold chain and rear sprockets. but im not sure which are good makes. Is a Tsubaki chain and renthal sprockets a good combo or is talon chain + sprockets better? or are there better ones i could go for? (basically after a fairly good one, not cheap but not a supidly expesive one either lol)

Also is going to a 530 pitch a good idea? iv heard it will give me abit more power due to it weights less?

I think you mean 520. The smaller the pitch the less rotating mass, however I don't think you'd notice the difference.

525 is a good compromise for strength over weight.

Any of the large brands will be fine, I favour Renthal/Talon/DID stuff. Thumbs Up

I got the best renthal sprockets/tsukabi chain from b and c for just less than £130. I'm going to fit them on saturday!

The gold chain looks nice!

It depends on the bike, and the quality of the sprockets and stuff like that....

Or so I'm led to believe!

Tsubaki chains are good, as are renthal sprockets, I'd stick with them. I didn't know Talon made chains!
