A little late, but here's a couple of images form last weekends BMCRC racing at snetterton (none of Jon/G as we've already got those in another post)

I found the lens damn heavy mind (3.5kg:cry: ) and it's going to take some time to get to grips with shooting on the monopod.

with my trusty 300D bolted on the back of my new 120-300 f/2.8 lens I spent an hour or two on Friday evening for the last few practise sessions and was amazed at the speed considering it was raining and rapidly loosing light, that I was still able to shoot at iso 100!
And on Saturday in both sunny and overcast conditions the lense was just brilliant, really making a difference to my shots. Being able to drop down to 120 for the closer stuff made a difference as well. I really think I've found the right lense for me.
Enough babble heres some images.

I'm really impressed how much a lens can make a difference.
I borrowed Jays 20D for a race, and that has shocked me how bad/slow my 300D is.
So much so I have just taken delivery of a 20D today, just in time for Lydden this weekend !!

Nice pics.

You like the lens then? I just had one delivered today! Very Happy That's two lenses and a body inside a month... *must stop spending money!* It's only 2.6kgs though, you big girl! (I'm not even going to try shooting handheld with it!) Wink .
