Ello all..

Just wondering.. what you have on your bike all the time? Is your bike equiped with everything from weasel grooming kits to spare yodeling trousers.. or just a hankey?

Mine has (in its various orifices)

WD40, Easystart (in some rag)
Adjustable spanner

Shackle lock
Padlock
Disclock
Griplock For those extra paranoid moments

Spare plugs, plug spanner
Butane soldeing iron+solder

Spare balaclava Fwarrr
Latex gloves

Thats nothing compatred to what i'll take on a long journey.. its like a giant twowheeled handbag Rolling Eyes

I carry spanners from 8ml to 18ml, then an adjustable spanner for wheel nuts ect, then:

Gaffa tape
Tie wraps
waterproof trousers
few allen keys
a spare bulb
and a spare tenner

thats all crammed into a realy tiny space behind the battery.

if i have my tank bag on, i even carry a spare rider.

Steve.

Nothing. Sad Unless I have my panniers or tank bag on, all necessities have to be carried about my person so I keep them to a minimum cos there's too much of me already......

Used to carry a small toolkit in the bike, of course the cover has fallen off the space and the toolkit vanished.

Disc lock, an old rag and the Buell toolkit in the Buell ( I can fit my keys, wallet and phone under there too)

And Toolkit under the RGV seat. I could fit a whole load of other stuff under there too, because the space is cavernous! Smile

Under my seat, i have usually 4 things

Arrow Cable ties
Arrow Disklock
Arrow Chain and padlock
Arrow Gaffa tape
Arrow Screwdriver bit set + bodged driver
Arrow WD40

it's amazing what you can pack into the undertray of a small sportsbike, but that's what i have. All the essentials. Ideally i should strip it down as i'm sure it's bound to affect the handling, but i see it all as necessary, despite carrying around my AA card.

original tool kit..fits everything.. Not sure I'd know how to fix the bike if it shit itself on the side of the road but it did come in handy the other day after I cleaned it and forgot to tighten the mirrors Embarassed

I also keep me wet weather pants, me disc lock and some ocky straps (elastic straps) in case I need to shove something on the back. Oh yeah and a tyre pressure gauge.

Not a great deal of room but Ive got it down to the things I need as apposed to the things I want.

If I went with the things I wanted I'd need a trailor big enough to fit Alyssa Milano in it with a bucket of lube and a towel Thumbs Up
