im not a fan of any fancy brake bleeding kits, as they all seem to be gimmicky and never really work properly

im after some clear plastic tubing of a diameter that will fit snugly over a bleed nipple and create a seal, surely the staple of the basic bleed kit, but i cant seem to find any anywhere, on ebay or around the bike shops without having to buy some naff kit

many moons ago, i bought a motrax easy bleeder thing, the valve itself was bollocks, but the tubing that came with it is the right size, but at only 2 inches long it just points directly up in the air and you have to kind of wipe the fluid away as it comes out the end

so anyone got about a metre of the clear stuff or able to obtain some for me? or know for a fact where you can get hold of it?

any advice appreciated

Your local hardware store probably has rolls of the stuff, next to the rope. Think its 6mm that you want.

You want pneumatic air pipe tubing, RS and engineering shops sell it.

5/6mm should give a tight fit

Try your local Pet Shop.
Hoses in all Diameters and Lengths.
They sell them for use with Fish Tanks and Aquariums.
Cheap as Chips.
Wouldnt use anything else.
