what does this mean???

hi this is a barrel for a nsr 125 and i was wanting to know what the sign and number circled in the picture means cheers

What is in the segments around the big "2"? If its other numbers, then it could be a manufacturers stamp to indicate when the unit was made.

theres no other numbers in the segaments theres just a number 2 in the middle of the little sign and im not sure what it means

Things like that normally denote when the pattern / mould was last updated. Bits round the outside probably denote a year, number in the middle denotes the month.
