Hi there all. Im currently arranging a day out at Santa Pod for those who fancy something a little different. I've invited a few websites and just been shown this one so extending the invitation

Santa Pod is a drag strip if you've not heard of it.

Prices are about £10 to get in, and £20 odd for unlimited runs. You will need your driving license and obviously adiquate clothing.

I've already contacted Santa Pod about bikes turning up. Its all fine. The more bikes that turn up = more bike strip time (have to alternate between cars and bikes).

MAY 2006

Sat 13th "RWYB" Run What Ya Brung - Public Track day

We currently have about 20 other riders turning up.

Hope you can make it Very Happy

£30? Shocked for what will probably only amount to 3-4 runs Better off waiting for Bulldog Bash and getting a 3days of camping and events aswell.

I'm going to the Straightliners/Streetfighters weekend on the 6th/7th May. Not keen on the car events as they always seem to get priority over the bikes.

Wiith all due respect, I didn't ask for those who arn't interested to put other people off with snydy comments......

This is for those people that ARE interested.

If you do not wish to join in, thats fine.

And you will get more than 3-4 runs im sure. And its not just about going up there for the drag running either.

How many runs do you expect you will get?

Last time I was at pod on a mixed day we didn't get that many.

It completly depends on how many turn up on the day. Most RWYB days are sundays, hence why we've picked the saturday in the hope it'll be a bit quieter.

It depends really. I've personnally never been on the bike. BUt in my car i've know between 3 and 24 runs.

Depends how many times you want to get up the strip and queue up again.

I personnally won't want to do tooooo many runs. I think 5-6 runs and i'll be happy. Don't want to trash the clutch Laughing

Im arranging it for the social aspect too.
