You can squeeze wider tyres on, but it's seriously not a good idea. It's got that size tyres on it for a reason. It may look 'cool' but you'll seriously fuck up the handling.

They've got fat tyres on them anyway!!

The RS125 has those size tyres on because they're the best tyre profile for thatbike.
The RS250 only has a 130 section rear, it's all it needs.

rs125 has a 150-70-17 rear which is definatley wide enough. an rs250 definatley does not have a 130 on its more like a 160 maybe even 180? Thumbs Up Mr. Green

I thought it was a 160 on the RS250?

Stick with the original, you won't go far wrong. Better to spend your time researching the best tyre patterns and compounds than the sizes. A pair of michelin pilot sports won't see you far wrong.

bt090's

i change from a dunlop d207 on the front to a bt090 and the difference it's making to me is unreal. the front end never felt stable when i had the d207 on the front
