Hi Smile

Now that i've got a set of clocks on it's way to me, I need an ignition barrel.

Shall I just order any old type of ignition barrel, or will I need to use a certain type for my 2005 Honda CG 125-4?

Thanks
Gav

Give David Silver Spares a call or drop them an email; they'll almost certainly be able to tell you what you need.

I *think* the CG125 barell attaches to the bars somehow, and then the clock set sits around it. My mate had a nasty crash on his CG, and the clocks and warning lights were all smashed off but the barell was still there, so I'm guessing this is the case Thumbs Up

I'm waiting for my ignition switch to be delivered, but in the meantime, i've loosely fitted my clocks and charged battery, connected head lamp, etc.

I thought i'd see if I could get the bike going, so i connected the 2 wires that would normally lead to the ignition, but no power. Is this normal? does the ignition do something other than connect those wires?

Cheers

Yes, but it is not wise to discuss exactly what on an open forum as this would tell every thieving scrote how to hotwire one.
