OK, so next time I plan to go Dartmoor, I'll take my baffles out and zoom past a horse at 80MPH+ and see if I get knocked off. I think it's the poor rider who would. Laughing Razz

and bikes pay a lot less than cars, i'd say its all in keeping with the relative damage to mode of transport does to the road, cars eat up tarmac, as can bikes, horse is just gonna wear down his feet

yeh they shit on the road, but when was the last time you saw a post on here about a rider coming off on horse shit, probly happens, but most of the time its more a buggerance to find it in the road, than a life threatening situation

compare it to the threat to bikes from oil spills left by undermaintained trucks and vans run by Shonky McDodge haulage companies, and it puts it all into perspective

people need to get off their high horse Razz Wink

Nah i'm crap on a horse, when I was 13 and in the scouts we went on a mountain bike trip to the Brecons and we had a day horse riding, mine was dog slow and no matter how hard I whacked it, it wouldnt keep up with the others. To top it off the horse in front of me took a piss in front of me and got me slightly wet. Sad

They should stay in fields where they belong. Theres a stables near my mother inlaws and I was going to her house one day in the car and came across 2 horses ridding in the middle of a single track road round a blind bend, fucking idiots!. I was only doing about 30mph and had to slam on and they look at me as if I'm in the wrong. Twisted Evil Middle Finger .

If I had been on the bike i would have been going faster and would have hopefully got them to throw there riders as I wouldnt have slowed down. TOSSERS!!!!!

solution to problem of original thread....author should buy a horse!

There problem solved! More reliable, more cuddly, dont answer back and dont generally piss you off!

BTW - riders (responsible ones...) do pay hefty third party insurance......more than some drivers do.....!

On a serious not, is it your bofriend your missing or the life you expected to lead together? that house, pet cat, e.t.c.

Sometimes people change so much they end up with bugger all in common (especially when your younger)

Immerse yourself in the wonderous bikeing world, go to rallys+meetings, make new friends change your lifes direction, go for rideouts in the middle of the night for no apparent reason..

Things seem to work themselfs out if your willing to shake up your world a bit...
