Ok, probably been done loads of times before but . . .

What's the fastest you've been on your bike (On a private road of course!) and on the back of someone else's?

True 172 (though I tried to change up a gear when there weren't anymore to go, so probably slowed downa bit for the timing lights) Thanks to MR Lucku usa Smile

Dunno about pillion though, doubt much over 100.

I find taking a pillion at over a 100mph quite worrying as they start getting blown about a lot and start dragging me about too much

Pillion - 170 ish on a blade (eeek scary stuff - no grab rail either!)

On my bike... was followed by someone who reckoned they were doing 140 and loosing me slightly... so probably around 130 true on the CBR.

No, that's because the last time he took a pillion that fast he had my MR as passenger. As we all know, James is otherwise known as "fidget arse" due to his inability to sit still on the back of a bike.

Oh, he's also twice Gav's height and so acts as a wind block. Stopping all bikes dead.

I took a 16 stone mate on the back of my CBR and found that the front wheel was lifting up way too easily under relatively gentle acceleration. When we stopped he said he almost went off the back (he was holding onto the grab rail) so when i twisted the throttle i think his weight shifted right back.

Top speed 120MPH indicated (too scared to go faster Embarassed)

Top speed as a pillion was about a ton on the back of keiths bandit Razz

I must admit the screen on my CBR is VERY low

at a 100mph I just find I would need to duck down to stop getting hammered by the wind and as such the pillion takes it all, which either way aint great!

oh yeah and James is a bit of a fidget and twice my size Laughing
