does a 2sroke bike use less petrol then a 4stroke???????????

You need to be a little more specific on what bike!

What Engine etc...

For example a 2 stroke 50 would use less fuel than a 4 stroke 1000cc Laughing

well my rs50 did about 180 miles on a full tank, £8.00 worth,
My NSR does about 110 miles on a full tank about £8.00 worth (this is NOT including the reserve)
i dont know what 4 strokes are like.

Generally a 2 stroke will use more petrol than a 4 stroke.

The direct injection peugot scooters are pretty good on fuel. But then take a gt750 and you might aswel buy shares in BP.

...but with 2 stroke you get more bang to your buck - they give more power. A 2 stroke 50 has more power than a 4 stroke 50, so its worth it for a small slide in MPG. Also take into consideration that some 2 strokes need an oil/fuel mixture not straight fuel and they will always burn more oil than a 4 stoke regardless of size because of the engine design (no valves etc..)

Not wrong there, i thought the new emission regs killed off high capacity 2 strokes anyway?

Whichever way, you need to factor 2t oil into your fuel bill which bumps it up.
