Right, i've been searching about and waiting on folk getting back to me about supplying me some Japanesse Yoshimura cans but i've done enough waiting. so i'm going to buy a US yoshi can over the weekend. but i'm now stuck on which kind to get.
I know it going to be a Bolt-On TRS but its the materials its made of i'm stuck on

Carbon

They all look so beautiful!!! Cool
The stainless does look nice-but the titanium is lighter.
maybe the carbon won't scratch or show scratches as easily as the other ones?
i think carbon would best suit the bike Thumbs Up

Ti - seems to suit the rest of the bike well. Weight advantage is marginal for road use - just imagine the amazing power to weight ratio advantage a rider not carrying a disc lock under his seat has.

Laughing I remember Hammond saying how if you carried a packet of crisps, you undid all the good work Mazda did lowering the weight of the rear view mirror in the 06 MX5.

It's a good point; all this power to weight ratio crap; yet many of us completely detroy that by being fat bastards! Laughing

Carbon can for sure. Goes with the dark blue.

Which ever can you get, it can't look as bad as stock. The stock cans on those gixxers just look huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Carbon: Sick

Either the titanium or the stainless for me, depending on what bike it's going on.

Seeing the bike from those later angles, I think the carbon disappears into the blackness of the wheels/frame too much. Would look good if the rest of the bike was black though...

Titanium would look better to me. Your bike is too dark for the carbon one, as others have said Thumbs Up

One of the metal ones. Carbon cracks too easily if you crash it.

Carbon. Always carbon.

Washing your bike? With carbon cans, all you need is a blob of wd40 on it and wipe it off. No smear marks, nothing. Stainless cans smear and scratch easily. However stainless can be polished easily.

Titanium. Although bloody lovely it is, it scratches easily and jsut try and polish titanium. You won't get very far.

Carbon if you want it looking good in a years time. Smile

P.S Bendy I see you didn't get that remus can the other day, tsk tsk, it went for a cheap enough price too!! (I was going to win it but forgot Embarassed )

Oh aye...that sticky chain crap that hardens rock solid when on your exhaust? When you take taht off when washing, you'll find you'll scratch the can if titanium/ ss. Not heftily so but it all adds up.

I was at Lydden so couldn't do any sniping, just lobbed in a bid about 3 days early and left it. Not too fussed, just on the lookout for a bargain. Smile

I'd go with the carbon, I think it looks the best.

As instigator said, there also a piece of piss to clean. Just spray on some WD and wipe it over and they're gleaming, always brings my one up a treat anyway.

Carbon can looks better in the flesh I think. I never really fancied a carbon can, but it was a good deal and I liked it once it was on. Stainless steel looks good on the Gixxer though, it shows up well against the black wheels and frame. here's a pic of a stainless can on my bike...

Actually, I'm in 3 minds whether to put on the Scorpion or not. I think it sounded much nicer. Thinking

Why not go for an Akrapovic can instead? They are the dogs danglies in my opinion and I would buy an Akra over a Yoshi every time.

If you are really set on having a Yoshi can, then go for either the Carbon or the Titanium can. The Stainless Steel can is just too bling and looks so out of place.

Why, what's wrong with your girlfriend?

Yoshis just seem to 'go' with Suzukis, don't know why, but Akras don't seem 'right' with the big S. Confused
