Anyone else have a problems with the xbox360 with a phillips 15" lcd flat screen ?

On the other tellys its crystal clear, but with the lcd its all fuzzy !
But when i play a movie on the xbox the picture is perfect. Neutral
Tried all the settings, but still fuzzy !!! Arghhhh !!!

Only had the xbox a week along with the telly,so dont now much about it.Only 2 mins ago i've finally got xbox live to work !!! Down loading stuff to it now !

Don't have either but sounds like the Xbox resolution isn't matched to the LCD in everything but video playback?

I'm assuming there is an adjustment somewhere; also the connection you're using (between XB and LCD) may have some bearing on the problem.

not sure if its relevant, but it could be due to the HD technology? (or the refresh rate??) the 360 uses (not the cables).
I hooked up my mates XB360 to his pc, and played it through that, and the image was slightly fuzzy, but screenshots + recorded movies(of what we were playing) were fine

"your other tellys" were they conventional CRT's because they will be a better picture. LCD's and Plasmas are shit unless you get high definition. They were only made to save space not provide a better picture.

No point hooking a 360 to a non HD lcd

Don't set the refresh rate too high. LCD Tvs don't work like CRTs (LCD is a flicker free technology) and a higher refresh rate might not give you a better picture.

Look here... https://www.cryer.co.uk/brian/windows/trbl_tft_fuzzy.htm

The lcd has a hd mode on it , does that mean it a hd lcd ?
Has got on the back a dvi-d (hd/pc) port.
I think theres a different cable in the shop which has a connecter to fit this.

Found an option on the menu of the tv to make the image better, might be the best i can get !

Cheers for all the ideas !

Thanks
Richard
