windows 98 wireless network

is there anyway i can create a wireless network connection between windows XP and windows 98?
as i am currently trying to do so and am having trouble and i want to know if i am just trying for nothing as its not possible, what are peoples experience or how can i do it or not do it, please help.

Install the wireless drivers that came with the network card and you can, yes.

huh, well i installed the driver for the netgear MA111, it knows there is a connection but i cant do the fuinal step of atuall getting it to connect on the network.

It is possible to do but on the whole I would junk Windows 98 on the other PC.

Install atleast Windows 2000, as 98 is getting very long in the tooth now, its nearly 9 years old and alot of hardware won't support it now.

i coudl install windows XP on it. but it currupts it and everything is set wrong. for example. i dont get any sound, and the wireless thing doesnt work it just crashes the computer evertime i put the adapter in. i head it was because i had two bios working together or sumin and it corrupted it, so i dunno hw i can install xp and keep everything working
