Im looking to raise the back end of my cbr600, i have searched and looked about for some Ride Height Adjusters to add to my existing suspension, but can only find them for the suzuki and yamaha bikes. i dont want to spend like £700 on a suspension with a Ride Height Adjuster and was wondering if anyone else knows where they can be purchased from. i know that i will have to cut and extend my side stand etc and the other downfalls/advantages that come with raising the back end but thats just a simple bit of welding.
im more or less finished with adding bits to my bike, undertray, rear hugger, getting rid of the big indicators and big number plate, and a few other modifications. thought raising back end would just finish it off.

any pointers in the right direction on the subject Thumbs Up

Loads of Hondas benefit from arse raising, though not always with the RRs - I am gathering this to be an FX model... Your choices are as follows:

1) Fit adjustable torsion bar (280 Canadian) - problem with this, is that it sways the progression curve the wrong way of good... (140 + import tax n shipping)

2) Rip the shock apart and fit a longer shaft and bumpstop - around 100 quid; so is actually cheaper than the above; but is non-adjustable for length... (seems crazy not to revalve shock at same time though dont it?)

3) Install aftermarket shock - 4-500

Remember if you raise the rear by too far it will become VERY twitchy, bordering on dangerouse at high speeds. You have been warned. Wink

yeah but no but yeah but no, but yeah...

...largely becomes twitchy cos peeps leave the fronts alone too much!! If front tailored to rear, then even 855mm seat height is do-able.. Laughing Laughing Laughing
