At the "biker" cafe over here talking to someone when this old guy knocks my bike over

Screen snapped in two (will need new stickers)

My crash protectors worked good.

Damge too:

Clutch
Bar end
Foot peg
Rear seat
Tank (few dents)
Front mudguard
Indicators
Front fairing a few scratchs
Exhuast
R&G
Stickers
Helmet (bike landed on it)

I stopped the guy in his tracks and he said he didn't see it and it was parked in the middle of no where (wtf)

I told him he should of opened his eyes and it isnt a moped so it isnt that small, i will upload some pics later i took at the spot.

Dozy git. How can you not see that! and if you can't see properly behind you, you shouldn't be reversing into that area. Anything could've been behind him.

Yes it was his fault, but some of that damage is so negligable.

New lever, screen and lid and you're fine. The other damage will either polish out, and if it doesn't, it's because you can barely see it in the first place.

I think that list of the damage is milking it a bit.

I know it must suck to see your brand new pride and joy go over, especially at the hands of someone else. Hope it's sorted soon.

No offence gaz, but even if the damage is only one little chip out of the paint work why should I be left with the damage when it wasn’t my fault.

Its an 06 reg

Wouldn't look very good when i come too sell the bike would it, Just pissed me off since I was getting all my new parts put on tomorrow but now I cant since of this.

The insurance is not to know that I was getting all new exhaust and carbon fibre bits.

Am going milk his insurance for all the money I can, can pay for my insurance for my car Very Happy

I will let you know what happens later with the insurance.

thats not the point tho. the fact is he spent hard earned cash on a brand new unmarked bike and now some tw4t has modified it for him.
would you pay full price for a new bike with a few dings in it?

I entirely see your point, but give it a few months and you'll have similar little bits of damage from wear and tear.

I've never been in your position with a spanking new bike, so I can't really feel your pain, the newest bike I've owned is a '97.

Wear and tear is a hell of a lot different to some twat knocking it over.

I feel your pain.

I felt the same (though probably a little more annoyed as it was self-inflicted) when I had finally had new panels and paint on my 125 and I dropped it on the drive checking the oil... Embarassed

unbelievable that he claims he didn't see it. I think he may need an eye test - that bike is so shiny you could hardly miss it!

Nonono the car backed into the left hand side of the bike (clutch side) snapped the clutch and the scratchs on the tank.

Got off the insurance and they are gonna send him a letter and can't claim off his until he has signed it lol, if he doesn't do it soon then i will call the police.

There is also a chip where it says "600"

Gonna take it to the garage tomo and get it all priced up.

Can't have nothing nice in this world without someone damaging it.

He can also buy me some new stickers for my screen Twisted Evil
