Last night i was arrested and put in a cell for the night, I pulled up in tesco's next door to a done up 106 with 3 tossers inside just to get a snack like i always do and on the way back i saw the passenger get out his car and tip what looked like coke all over my bike. I ran, grabbed him by the shoulder and punched him right in the face knocking him flat on the floor. A brawl then went on between myself, 106 driver, backseat passenger, my bro and best mate. The police were called by a shopper that said we started the fight and to my amazement, me, my bro and best mate were thrown in the back of a van and the 106 thugs were left at the scene (the passenger has a broken nose, cheek bone and eye socket). I have a feeling im in serious shit and going to get karted of to prison. What should i do ?

Doubt it'll be prison if it's a first offence.

Best bet is to talk to a solictor to get some decent legal advice on how to minimise any shit. You never know, they might not press charges.

See if you can get any camera footage of them initially throwing the coke on your bike... that should be more than enough to show the cops that they started it Smile

dunno bout the punch up tho ya'll probly get fined or sumthin. don't worry bout it n just ride Cool

Tghat will show someone threw coke on his bike, to which he should have gone to the police about, not punched someone. He may be able to take them to court over it as a seperate incident, though I doubt it'd get far.

You have to do much, much worse to get to prison I suspect, probably just a caution I would think.

Broken nose, cheekbone and eye socket!! And you think he'll get a slapped wrist, bollocks he will, if the cops don't do you, you'll get sued or both, either way after doing that kinda damage don't expect to get off lightly. And having a can of coke tipped over your bike does not prove they started it, now if they got physical first then you may be ok, but they didn't.

you wont get a custodial sentance

you will get a fine (more than likely quite hefty unfortunatly due to the physical injury you caused)

you will probably get a criminal record for actual bodily hard and more than likely a restraining order

although your actions were the same as what mine probably would have been, you unfortunatly threw the first punch which legally puts you in the wrong no matter what the guy did to your bike Evil or Very Mad

all the best mate, get yourself some good legal help (they are worth it trust me - I've been in a similar position before and its not a nice one to be in)

If they guy was continuing to do something damaging to his bike that he might have had a case had he tried to restrian him, but tipping some coke over a bike is /not/ starting a fight, throwing a punch /is/.

I guess smashing his face in was a tad ott but still how else are they gona learn? if u just called the cops you'd be lucky if they turned up and then u'd get a bollocking for wasting time and yet those tossers provoked you......one word....imigrate least if u go to another country you'll be protected by a better law Smile
I am sorry to hear about it though m8

yeah but puoring a can of coke all over your bike is *intimidating* its asking someone to react to what you are doing and therefore used in your favour we should get bikercop to help us on this one!

the result will still be the same, he will get prosocuted for his actions not the other lads or what provoacted it.

the fact the other lad did provoce it will be taken into account but the reaction was over the top (in a law sence) as he wasn't in physical danger so it wasn't an act of self protection.

and even if it was an act of self protection he would still had been charged with excessive use of force Evil or Very Mad

the whole system sucks unless you know how to use it..... and even then it still sucks and the ones who cause the problems seem to benifit

Maybe it's just my experience (comming from south africa and all) but I think, although the police system has a few flaws it is still very good.

Micro monkey i do really feel sorry for you mate if I saw anyone touch mine or my mates bikes in any shape or form like that I would hit them en all no matter who they were.

Personally I think everyone should have the right to protect their own property with reasonable force.

Well, ask Tescos for the CCTV.

If the people in the pug have just gone, then there is no-one to ask for you to be prosocuted for assult. Therefore they might only be able to do you for distubing the peace or something

I doubt that anything will happen to you mate.....

My best mate got the crap kicked out of him by 4 17 year olds when we were 14 or 15.... they tried x-raying his head because they thought that his skull had shattered and were worried fragments were floating around in his head Sad , but they couldn't because his head was to swollen.....he also suffered a broken nose, fractured eye socket and some other stuff, couple of broken fingers to I think, can't remember all of it.

Anyway, the guys that did it haven't even got a fine, only a slap on the wrist Sad Confused Rolling Eyes

Mind you, they got what they deserved after it all got cleared up, not the smartest thing, but there you go....

i must say i would of done EXACTLY the same thing, i might not have pasted his face in as hard as that though mate! Twisted Evil good work!

no on a more serious note i hope everything goes as well, i bet they wont look as hard getting out of their pug with smashed up faces in front of the girls now will they!!

as said above, get that video and show the court that they intimidated you, although putting coke on your bike doesnt cause it any physical damage or anything, just make sure they dont come out with bullshit such as "we where just standing there and they started the trouble and fight!" Evil or Very Mad

as said hope all goes well! GOOD LUCK MATE Exclamation
