He's forgot to send me the milage so I'm waiting for an email reply with the milage (I did say he was from Bolton Confused ) but I do know it's been in his garage for about a year excluding the odd spin round the block to keep it healthy. This was going to be his missus bike but she's had a change of heart so he wants rid to make room in the garage. Hell probably put the plastics back on for you if you ask nicely.

Nice bikes the NC21 bit iffy on the electrical side a solid gear driven cam V4 engine and has a much more pratical swingarm than the NC24.

Not really that much for a bike from the late 80s.

Talking an average of probaby a tad over 1500miles a year. Have seen NC21s with much higher mileage, though can't comment on the state of this one really.

I thought that kind of mileage was pretty much the death-knell for an engine of that size.

Depends how it's been treated.

I've seen 2 stroke 125s with much higer mileage.
Infact I've seen 19,000rpm CBR250s with higher mileage. It doesn't have to be a problem, it's just that if it's been treated badly for thirty thousand miles it's obviously going to be worse than an engine treated badly for eight thousand miles Smile.
