Staying at this place https://www.quentinhotels.com/Arrive/aboutus.html

It's just down the road from Barney's, Pink Floyd and Rastababy so lots of good gear nearby. Very Happy

Sweet Mr. Green

We've decided to stay in a hostel this time, did the same last time too. You get 6beds for £40 a night and a huge living room to share/smoke with other guests. 100% smoking friendly. I've been kicked out a hotel before for smoking/stinking the whole upper floor out. Laughing

Make sure you go to the 'damkring' its not the best cafe to while away the day but has the best gear in the City. 'Dutch moonshine' - compressed pollen, white in colour, available in three different grades, its some of the strongest stuff i've ever had the pleasure of.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up To the Dampkring

Also they have a sister shop near by which is much quieter whose name escapes me.

Go for the NYC Diesel, some of the best gear I ever tried Thumbs Up

I am just booking now to go with 10 of us at the end of May. Have a good one!

Some random suggestions......
Up near Nieuwmarkt (east from red light) there are some good coffeeshops. Two in the square are the rare ones where you can skin up on the terrace. Also the Joker in the square is cool. Round the corner toward Waterlooplein there's the Bluebird. Good weed (nearly as good as Dampkring) Stone's cafe in red light is very cool for a British run coffeeshop.

For something to do in the day, boat trip. Ignore the commercial ones, no fun. Get down to Boom Chicago in Leidseplein, and write your name on the little bookgin form for a vintage boat trip. Stock up with grub and booze, (and warm clothing - it's open boat), and go off for 3 hours on a small boat with an English speaking guide who takes you on all the little waterways the big boats can't get to - plus you can smoke your head off on the trip. very cool, just floating along when you're floating along Wink. very reasonable price. They even let you drive it if you want.

Weed? I love Kali Mist me. High not stoned. The connoisseur's stash. Very Happy

Kali Mist? Where'd ya get that? I like the high through the day, usually go for Orange bud, the old faithful.

Never been on any of the boat trips, might have to try that, cheers!

Dampkring do a nice Kali Mist (sometime spelt Khali Mist). Smile

This is a cracking guide:

I like Dutch Flowers coffeeshop too, but the owner is famously grumpy so make sure you spend money before building up. Smile

Before Thursday it's worth checking that your mobile has got European roaming enabled and change numbers in your phone book to having +44 instead of the first 0.

I plan on getting checked in by 9am, we can meet up in the airside departures pub, think it's called Yates.

The list is me, Danny, Korn, Millsy & Mark (Korn's mates), Markcatate, Wave, Dom, Davo and Yokogeri. 10 people, this is gonna rock. Dance!

Few hours boat trip... there's not enough time for that between going to coffeeshops and getting stoned. Razz

In the red light district the Old Church is worth going to, good place to chill with nice gear.

It went good Smile See this thread for pictures https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=78996

Will sort the rest of my pictures soon.

Hotel... there isn't any curfew. I wouldn't advise staying there, there was something a bit fishy about it. It is in a really really good location so I'd maybe stay there but only as an alternative to sleeping rough.
