Is this bike a ZZR600 or a ZX6R as they are different bikes?

i sometimes have similiar problems on my gpz500s, especially when hot... i normally just double clutch - second to neutral (clutch out) then into first... thats what i do anyway

Soz i dont really know that much on the mechanical side of things - dont want to go and give u incorrect advise...

It is a bit annoying at times, but i just got used to it now...always had similar problem on most of my previous cars....would sometimes have to double clutch when i wanted to ingage reverse...

Hope everything sorts itself out, but if do rectify the problem perminantely let me know of the solution...cheers, Ow

First thing I would do is clean the linkage rod joints.

Had a similar problem on my ZX6 and thought it was something terrible. Turned out to be the ball joints needed a clean and grease after winter muck - did that and had perfect clunking into gear again Smile.
