Hi guys!

I'm 17 years old, have owned a 50cc scooter for the past year and am looking to sell up and purchase a 125. I have a couple in mind but everythign seems to be de-restricted.

On a moped many people ride de-restricted (including myself) and there's not really a problem. Is that muich the same for 125's?

Also, i owuld like to ride de-restricted legally and take people on the back. What tests can i take?

How much will they cost? How long will they take? What is involved in the process?

Any help very gratefully recieved, thanks a lot!

Take the A2.

Around £330 for a 3 day course and bike hire and test, do your theory too (£21 I think).

It allows you to ride anything upto 33bhp.

You have to be 17 and you will get to ditch the L plates and be able to take pillion.
