Which is more relialbe? a Honda Varadero V Twin 4 stroke or a Derbi Senda SM 125 single Cylinder 4 stroke?

Since its only a 125 the Honda should be better since i have heard of derbi's breaking down alot.

Honda's are very relialbe.

I didn't know the varadero was a twin. as far as i knew it was a single. The single will suffer more from vibrations, but the components will be engineered to cope with it. Personally, i'd take the single.

It is a twin.

However at this size it makes little real diffence - there are much bigger factors involved.

yep its a twin..dont see the point on a 125 though, apart from making it look a lot more beefy.

I had a Varadero, amazing bike. Don't know nothing about Derbi but should imagine parts and accesories would more difficult to get hold of.
Go for the Honda

How much you thrash it (they're 125's, so a lot) and how often you change the oil will be quite a lot more important. The Varadero will probably go faster so might need thrashing less (haha), and is a Honda, which does normally go for it.

If you manage to sieze either one, it'll be through neglect and/or abuse, something any bike is susceptible to.
