I didn't know the varadero was a twin. as far as i knew it was a single. The single will suffer more from vibrations, but the components will be engineered to cope with it. Personally, i'd take the single.

How much you thrash it (they're 125's, so a lot) and how often you change the oil will be quite a lot more important. The Varadero will probably go faster so might need thrashing less (haha), and is a Honda, which does normally go for it.
If you manage to sieze either one, it'll be through neglect and/or abuse, something any bike is susceptible to. ____________________ I must not be a troll...
