PostPosted: 23:43 - 17 May 2003    Post subject: Natural progression..... Reply with quote

hi
well over a year on ive noticed the natural progression of us bikers moving up the cc ladder, if i remember correctly........

Korn- Was RVF400 - Now Storm
Zimma - Was ZXR400 - Now Storm
Andrew - Was XJR400 - Now storm
Craig - Was NSR125 -Now ZX6
Vickey - Was NSR125 - Now CBR400
ME - Was NSR125 - Now VFR400
Mickey B - Was NSR125 - Now Bandit
G - Was ZX6 - Now ZX9
Robby - Was CB250- Now VFR 400
Bendy - Was ped - then CB500 - Now CBR 600
Stew - Was VFR400 - Now YZF750
M - Was 'Nowt' - Now VFR 400
Phoenix - Was TZR125 - Then YZF 400 - Then ZXR400 - Now BLADE

I can't think of anyone else at the moment, its just nice seeing the progression and seeing the new NSR riders comming through like Nick, Richard, danny and timelimit \o/ yay.

Although not all of us follow this natral progression, me pokes stephen going from an NSR to a ZX6, Wing going from an NSR to a storm (ok hes old enough too Razz), dont forget kris who only just sold his NSR but still is yet to find a new bike Wink and then u got kev who goes up and down CC's like a yoyo.

Luke(Natural progressor)

If peeps i have missed out could add their bits too, just noting what they had this time last year and what they have now etc.

Oh, I forgot!

James, has gone...

from riding a clapped out XR125 around Cornish fields when he was little, to riding little peds with surfboard attachments around Fiji, to having his very own GSXR400.

I tried to persuade him he needed a 125 first, but like Michelle he saw sense!

It's not broken anymore! I told you! Just got to have new tyres and pass an MOT (although I am assured that this is not necessary for Cornwall as it is an independant country and has it's own rules stating that Mr James and Joey are allowed to drive/ride anything around Cornish lanes at any speed they desire, with or without MOT etc).

It should all be legal and running better than my poor poor abused CBR by the time we leave for our grand tour.

\o/ Glad to hear it!

Apart from the tyres, are you confident that it'll pass the MOT?

Don't suppose you would happen to know anything about where to get those would you? Smile

Your not *that* much shorter than me, so with the rear suspension lowered, a seat made smaller would you not be able to fit it?

You saw the blue smokey light then Very Happy

NSR to ZX6R is alright, as would be to any 600, or possibly bigger. Just got to treat it with lots and lots of respect Smile
