Now that we're getting close to summer I was wondering where the best place to check out biking events, rideouts and anything thats coming up soon etc.

Not an event as such but a good place to meet up is Rufforth auto-jumble.
First Saturday of every month, sells just about anything you could want.

I'd suggest you try and get there as early in the day as you can.
