This should be interesting Wink

My personal opinion is the RS125 but this is tainted because i owned one and havnt ridden a nsr125 :p

Aka a very bias'd opinion Wink but i liked it :p

i own an rs125, and have ridden an nsr125

an rs125 is better for blasts in the countryside, but an nsr125 is better for around town

this is because the rs125 turns better on twisty roads and is more of a bike that you lie on, than sit up an beg on.

the nsr125 is a more upright seating position which makes it a bit better in town

i prefer the rs125, but the nsr125 is more practical, the mito is even more of a race position than the rs125 but i havnt ridden it so dont know much about it

When I first got into bikes I wanted an RS125 as I thought they looked better. Simple really.

I think the RS is more 'race like' ergonomics wise and the NSR is more user friendly (in keeping with the Honda ethos ofr every bike they make).

You made a good start by not asking which is faster! Razz

PS don't go down that road!

Hi I’ve had both bikes and I agree with the above posts the rs is more of a weekend bike with better racing prosion and faster then the nsr.
The nsr is better around town a more up right riding prosion and is a bike i would use from going to and from work any day due to been more practical and reliable

It depends what your looking for, speed, practiallity or both, if both go for nsr, practicallity go for cg if you want race i would go for the cagiva mito or rs, (i prefer the mito, its more mental and partly becuse i have one Razz) but i would go for rs because its not as bad around town and you can have alot of fun on it to Razz

Depends on how much your willing to pay on insurance.

For example, my mate is thinking about getting either of the two. He's 19, 1yrs no claims, £1000 bike, 2k miles/year, TPFT.

Aprilla RS125 - £537.46

Honda NSR125 - £117.22

As you can see there's a big difference, it'll be mainly to do with the style and type of people that ride these.

HTH
