Well, I could do with some advice as to what bike I get.
Basically, i'm on a Bandit 600 now, but am seriously thinking of investing in a new bike for the future on finance. Question is, what should I put my money into?
I like the bandit, but feel the urge to get a sports bike and kit it out Not sure if I can ahndle a sports bike though, they look a bit powerful and i've only had 2 years on a 600c, and 1 year on ym 125
Anyone got an thoughts, opinions as to what bike would be a good, reliable and fun investment?
Many Thanks, ____________________ -Monk- |

If you're after an out and out sports bike, you'll find the riding position very different to the Bandit, but you probably won't find the power too much; the Bandit isn't that underpowered compared to a sports 600.
Try test riding something generic like a GSXR 600. |

A sports 600 shouldn't be a problem for you from a power point of view, as long as you're sensible and take it easy until you're used to the extra bhp of course. The other noticeable thing for you moving up to a sports bike would probably be the riding position.
I have some experience of both after doing my DAS on a Suzuki GS500 last year... then the 1st bike that I rode after the GS500 was a CBR600RR. Quite a drastic change in riding position as well as the extra power, but definately manageable with care.
I imagine the difference between your Bandit and a sports 600 should be less noticeable... so it's just a matter of personal choice
