With your fingers? Laughing

Probably best to heat it up with a hair dryer or something, and slowly peeling it off...how long has it been on? If it's a while, then expect have fun taking off the adhesive residue as well...I find that cellulose thinner is good for removing sticky crap, but obviously be carefull with it.

and paint as well - meths would be better to use on a painted tank as it wont damage the paint

Unless you have cellulose-based paint/lacquer (which you really shouldn't unless you have a Halfords paint job), then the effects of the thinner would be minimal, but obviously it would do something bad if you used too much etc.

but I still think thinners is a bit harsh just to remove sticky stuff anyway (well on a painted surface)

Hi

To get the tankpad off my RS I just sat there and rubbed it off. Took a while but safer than using any chemicals (OK, landed up with a blister on my thumb)

All the best

Keith
