Well on way home tonight, dead as hell not a car in sight, im traveling in a 40 zone and i see a friend in front, now hes doing 30 as he also sees me, i pull along side him at about 30 mph, say "orite mate, pull over at the petrol station"
I then pull back behind him doing 30 still, i get flashing headlights and a pull over indication.
the copper was far in a junction and saw us as we went past.

she stopped me and him, gave us both a producer and said im reporting you for dangerous driving, youl get a letter saying either thers nothing going to happen, or go to coart.

Just after some info, advice or tell me if im going to get jolly rogerd in the cells.

many thanks, Steve.

In which case, the road markings (particularly the lane dividers) will be critical. If there was a solid white line at any point, bend over and brace yourself.

No, but his mate in the car entered the lane to let him on the bike pull alongside Rolling Eyes

As i said to Mcgee on msn, the female officer that done me was on her own when she saw and cautioned me, it was only after the caution that another officer came along, not sure if that does anything for me.

I think she was sat in a lane doing paper work, as it took her a while to get behind us, we were doing under the limit, and she was in a deseil.

Damn, wish i had a 600, would of been gone.

Steve.

Should have asked her if she could spell corroboration.

You'll find that non-traffic plod don't know that much about traffic law and will often try it on.

One time I got pulled for allegedly doing a U-turn illegally. However, I'd actually done a right turn off the dual carriageway into another road and U-turned in that (no no U-turn markings Very Happy) to go the other way. Again only one copper in the car. As I was sat in the patrol car I was hoping he'd have the balls to take it to court where I'd have made him look even more stupid. You see the missus was following me, did exactly the same (legal) manoeuver. Usually all they want to do is put the wind up you and have a little power trip themselves. Sad really Rolling Eyes

If I was you I'd sit tight and wait. If anything happens then ask for the evidence.

Gibbs, what did Duckie look like when he was younger? Very Happy

yeah i agree with the power trip thing

if you are nice as pie and say you are sorry, they tend to let you off and not bust your balls

if you challenge their authority in any way, they want to give you hell

Steve,

What happens next has nothing to do with the police officers at the scene.

A senior officer will decide if it goes further and if it does it will then be down to the CPS.

Even if CPS choose to prosecute (I'm not clear enough on what happened to offer an opinion on the likelihood of this) a conviction isn't guaranteed and it's often easy to defeat the charge against you.
