Find a mito, get vernier calipers, measure them Smile.

do the rs50 use the same frame as the 125's? you could always go over to the 125sportsbike or whatever its called and ask them.

Hi

Pretty unlikely that they would just drop in.

I have seen the result of someone trying to get Aprilia AF1 forks into an RS50. Not pretty. Steering head on the 50 was about 2" shorter.

Why do you want to do this?

Totally different frame.

All the best

Just feels too spongy, also would like some that don't look like pencils. Mito forks are USD to would also add tart factor.

Getting an adjustable rear shock some time soon, would like stiffer front forks aswell.

Any suggestions?

Hi

Just get someone who knows what they are doing with forks to rebuild them for you with appropriate springs and oil levels / grades.

There are things you can do yourself. Coins of an appropriate size can be used to preload the fork springs. Thicker oil can be used to increase the damping. Using a slightly greater quantity of oil reduces the air gap and stiffens the forks.

All the best

Keith

do you mean coins as in to compress the spring more?, ive done that with an air rifle and they were a bitch to get out when i got a new spring will it be the same issue with forks?

Hi

Yes, putting coins on top of the fork springs. Just choose an appropriate size coin so it doesn't jam in place / fall down the middle. Quite a crude way of doing things though.

All the best

rs125 forks have been fitted to a rs50 a few times now but you can just change the springs in your stock forks for some stiffer ones https://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=1168
