So what happened then?

The bidding was over £2300 at one time but at auction-end it was back down to £1650 - Reserve not met

Sad The highest bidder retracted his bid 45 minutes before auction ending, he claimed he entered the wrong bid amount! Thinking He waited 10 hours before retracting his bid!

My ebay records showed he entered £200.050,00 instead of £2050,00 oops Laughing Laughing Almost early retirement and a brand new Harley Davidson!! but now.... Rolling Eyes I am relisting the bike again at 5.00pm sharp today (Thursday), ending this Sunday at 5.00pm, keep my fingers crossed!! Laughing

I did not see what his bid was until his bid was cancelled, only then It showed the life changing amount!! £200.050,00!!! Very Happy Twisted Evil

When you sell this bike are you planning to buy another ?

I am 25 and never been on a bike in my life. I wonder what the insurance would be. I would be interested in buying it if the price was right.

I already own a car but my work shifts have changed as I work for a pc gaming company and have to work 24 ,7 shifts. buggers. The wife needs to car to get to her normal hours jobs. lol. A bike would be perfect. And staying on the L's will do me for a while.

Very Happy

You would probably be looking at around 450-600 quid for insurance i imagine. My insurance on my 4 year old RS125 was £260 tpf&t. And that was with 4 years no claims and being 25 Thumbs Up

I reckon no more than £200 to insure the Varadero, mine was £146 with 0 no claims with EasyInsure, fully comp, my daughter paid £119 for a Lifan 125 with 1 year no claims, she is 24, she insured TPFT also at EasyInsure.

3rd party f + t = 110
fully comp = £245

I just dont get it Dutchman. Your bike a a beauty but no selling on ebay. People by the biggest pile of crap on ebay but are passing up on something like that.

Good luck selling. thats autotrader , ebay (2 or 3 times) and god knows what else.

sell it 99p with a reserve.. get more attention thant starting it high.

Tried and tested method for gaining intrest from people browsing.

select a long 10 day auction so people have time to come see it.

make sure the auction ends on a sunday about 9pm when most people are at home and are able to bid.

Simple
