Hi all,
I'm organising a round Britain ride in May/June 2007 to raise funds for charity. It will be a join and leave whenever you like ride. Please click I RODE ROUND BRITAIN WITH SOULS for the details. The website is an on-going thing that's being added to as details get finalised so drop in regularly for updates.
Please come along and ride with us whenever you can.
Cheers all
Souls.

The map on the website is not set in stone and if you have a suggestion that can be added to any part of the route I'd appreciate it. What I need is info on biker meeting places/ clubs in your area that I can contact for support. So far I've only stuck pins in a map and that's no substitute for your local knowledge.
Cheers
Souls.

For a round britain ride would it not be a worthwhile objective to visit the most northerly, eastern, western and southern points.

I would make that Dunnett Head (and/or John O'Groats as it's so close), Lowestoft, Ardnamurchan Point and The Lizard.

Just a thought Thumbs Up

Sloces, I'd love to see you down there, just have to make a donation to the charity to speak to me though. Pound Coin Pound Coin Pound Coin Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Seriously, it'd great to meet you all on the way round.

biker-dj, you have it in one M8. I'm doing the whole round trip and anyone, and I mean ANYONE can join in and leave whenever they want. That way, nobody is committed to ride any more or less than they want to on the day the circus comes to town. If you belong to a bike club and want to invite me to your meet then please e-mail me on the e-mail link on my website and I'll try to get there.

map: that's a creditable idea but the main exercise is to raise as much money Pound Coin Pound Coin Pound Coin for the charity as possible and going to the ends of the country won't help me do that. The four places you state don't have big populations to donate to the cause so I'm likely to stick places where there are more bikers rather than the odd sheep. Thanks for your interest though and I hope you'll join in the ride at some place.
Speak soon Guys,
Cheers

I only ask cos I was looking at your map and you mention the white cliffs - I live right underneath them and I'm sure if they end up being one of your "rest" points I can supply the cuppa tea and consequently join you for a little way on your journey.
Best of luck and I hope it all works out for you in 2007 Thumbs Up

I'll be there for a cuppa and a chat and to have you ride along would be special Thumbs Up
Keep an eye on the website for further details.

I'm not from the westcountry, the other guys were. I'm in Birmingham so not really on you're route, though may join you in north Wales.

Hi Phoenix, I thought you had gone there with the other guys!!
Would be good to have you along. Maybe you could ride down to Cardiff and travel up through Wales and then back down to Birmingham. I haven't ruled out anywhere yet really, but I don't know what the roads around Brum are like. Maybe on the return leg I could get across to the eastern side of Birmingham around Hinckley way. What's it like there off the motorways??

The local scribe has been and taken the details and his photographer has taken loads of pictures. One feels a right dick with a forced smile whilst holding One's £2.99p map and pretending to look at it. Still, as a celeb One supposes One will have to get use to it. Hand
I'm getting an extra phone line installed so all my fans calling won't interfere with business.

Don't worry, I wont let anyone forget. You must join in. You wouldn't like to miss out on a world record for the greatest number of bikers on a single ride-out, would you?
As for Ireland, I've got to try to blag a free passage there and back on the ferry before I commit to going over. Must get myself going, so much to do and only a year away now.
