Two questions here..

Will a missmatch lever be a problem on an mot? i know footpegs have to match left to right, is it the same with controll levers? (non adjustable clutch lever and adjustable brake lever)

Also

My Front brake master cylinder has cracked somewhere allong the line (just old and knackered i think) and is leaking from the resivoir, not much but can't see mr mot likeing it much and its not doing my paint any good.. ive managed to get hold of a zxr6/700 master cylinder, it will fit perfectly and look nifty, question is is it likely to make a big improvement over an older one?(81) or probably not noticable?

Thanks for reading Wink

Different levers won't affect the MOT, its normal for quite a few bikes with hydraulic brakes and cable clutches to have adjustable brake and fixed clutch.

Master reservoirs tend to be matched to the size of caliper, and power of bike. It should feel better simply because yours is knackered.
Worst that can happen is that the new master might make the brakes feel a bit 'grabby'.

A mate had his bike fail its mot because one (temporary) foot peg was different to the other stock peg (one was ruberised and the other wasn't) also steering bearings, but the tester said it would have failed on that too...

Maybe it depends on the tester, or this one was being arse/trying to sell a pair of pegs... Question

can live with slight grabbyness, allthough the hoses are original rubber and i think that take up allot of pressure, braided are on the "to do" list.. the leak hopefully explains the brakes squashyness lately Thumbs Down

Thanks for the replys Thumbs Up
