Why is everytime im just here bumbling along i always encounter a arsehole. doing roughly 40 mph on a 30 nice and steady comfortable pace because it was damp. And i get to a set of lights set off not like a mad man but not like a learner. And then comes Vrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm a Audi A4 or somet ( shitty small blacked out audi, but only 1.6) and then slams on in front of me and weaves about, carry on as normal move into bus lane and they do, so dropped a gear now into 2nd at 30 mph, then down to 25 they come tearing arsing past me and are now doing 20 mph in front of me, so i stay there, then i decide enoughs enough im gonna undertake um, and what do they do pull across my path.

Now what the fuck is it with people like this? There's one of me and two of them, must make them feel so fucking big. This is one of the reasons why car drivers piss me off.

Theres no need for it, i wasnt agressive in anyway, just going along because i was tired, not feeling to well so taking it nice and comfortable pace, still above the speed limit. Fucking arseholes.

Because a lot of them don't have a licence to lose or insurance to claim off of. And if they ever get in real deep shit with the law they go back home for 6 months then come back under a different i.d. So they feel they can do what they want with no repercussions. And they can.

Its just the whole Greater Manchester Area, the worst ive had was a black lad in a gold weave at me going through stockport, so i kicked out at his car. Got to the lights he got out of his car brandishing a wrench, unfortunatly for him, i have a whole belt full being a trainee scaff, so he mumbeld something and got back in his car...... CUNT But anyway, i find Manchester has some tosser drivers, mainly Bolton/Bury/Oldham/Cheetham Hill/Longsight. The Prodominatly none white areas! Its going so down hill this area. I actually prefer to ride round Warrington, ive never encountered any arseholes round there.

I can relate to that but at the same time i think i have it a bit worse as i only ride a scooter

I have a 6 mile run along the A696 every morning in rush hour past Newcastle airport - no joke to be topping out at 55mph while all the cars around you want to be past as fast as possible and see you as nothing more than an obstruction

Night time riding is hellish too - more & more boy racers on the road nowadays - most to be fair can't even drive properly / know the difference between dip & high beam / understand what their mirrors are for - hell ! the list could go on .

Oh , just remembered - was almost took out by a young driver last night turning left onto the road i was on without looking !

I hate asian drivers, it isn't just the rude-boys, they are gash in general.

Every single day I ride the 14 miles to Heathrow, and every single day I am cut up/undertaken/almost T-boned/tailgated/generally pissed off by asian drivers.

I have to say, it's usually the illegal-looking types in Toyota mini-cabs, or asian versions of my big fat dad in their enormous Mercedes.

This morning was a prime example, I was endangered by not one, but 3 Priveas within 5 minutes of each other - all driven by Pakistani or Bangladeshis.

I know that the areas I ride through/live in/work in have high asian populations, but there must be some shit white/black/chinese drivers out there somewhere!

Ive never been a gash car driver and im only young, its just they see a bike and think i instantly want to race. I used to think they drove like twats around me due to size of my small cbr 125 and L plates. But recently i have aqquired the use of my mates zxr 400, so just got myself insured on that. And its still the same.

lets all not be afraid to be stereotyp here...majority of young asian drivers are like that, more so wen there with there friends, and i trying to show off...i know this being a young asian myself, but fortunatly i fall far from that category, once my brother changed lane quite recklessly in traffic and normally knocked a passing motorcyclist off!
i shouted at him soo much , i dont think he'd ever do that again!
gave him th old "what if that was me??!!"

plus you should listen to what i heard about roads in pakistan, aparently you cant go a mile drive without hearing the horn being expolited 20times by other road users!!

People like to label it as racist when it's just not likeing a certain type of person. Everyone here also hates white chavs who hang around on street corners, can of stella in hand and scrounging cigs off passers by. It's just the same thing yet people don't get flamed for saying that.

I don't believe that everyone is racist - it's far more truthful to say that everyone is prejudiced.

I don't dislike blacks/asians/whatever because of their genetic code, I dislike certain cultural groups and societies whose members often have duskier skin than mine. In the same vein, I dislike (nay, hate!) several groupings in society whose skin is lily-white like my own.

I don't hate asian drivers because they are asian, I hate them because they are shit drivers. That I notice that fact out of all proportion to the actual number of asian drivers on the road simply provides support for my freely-admitted prejudice towards them.

Yeah exactly, i hate chavs, in fact i kick chavs about when they're anywhere near my house. No hesitation to punch one if they open their mouth in a way i dont like.

Its really beginning to put me off biking, wankers like that and just the general state of car drivers.

I think Mr James has got it spot on there

All through life you learn from your experiences dealing with certain types of people and if that experience is on the whole negative eg. you get ripped off or cut-up or whatever, then you would be a fool to not be prejudice or at least wary when encountering similar people, whilst it would be nice to judge everyone afresh survival instincts/ human nature tells you otherwise.
