Hmm, unlucky mate...try the Evening Post (do they have that outside of Bristol? Confused) or just some local papers generally.

look for possible rooms to rent (rather than a full appartment/flat/house etc ) normally cheeper and most include most of the bills!

or look for house shares (try the local studen uinion)

woking full-time, in a government funded scheme to give people free training for computer jobs but it means my salary is almost a third below the average person of my age and experience but does rise to the average when I finished my course(in 4 months hopefully) i barely scrape through the month as it is at the moment, but I can get a part time job as to which I reckon i might scrape together possibly £300ish which I could use for rent, if this is not enough Im fucked or I will have to notify my employment that I need a raise to keep me workin. Confused

hmmm tricky

Have you approached any companies yet to arrange a job once you finish the course? If not I suggest you arrange something asap that will get you a full time wage. That way, in 4 months time, at least you'll be earning and you'll have some sort of security that you have an income. Meanwhile, I'd plead with your old dear about staying at home until then. Give her a date that you move out (once youve arranged a job) and stick to it. I warn you now... living on your lonesome is fuckin expensive.

Is any of the above possible mate?

I maybe able to to swing a little extra time out my mum and leaving my current fulltime job would be the silliest mistake I would make in my life as they have told me they will be happy enough to let me do any job that I want to do and have left the door open to me to make the decision, so that means with a bit of hard work I can become a oracle techy ie programmer developer or DBA but it all depends on me making the effort to do it and that is what I intend to do and considering I started this place with shit GCSEs and nothing else to my name i dont alot of other employer would give me the same chance as the company that I'm working at the moment.
Also I'm discussing an option or renting a place with 2 other mates at the mo! and we reckon if 3 of us paid 300 each we might be able to sort something out?????

other things to consider as well as the rent mate:

water rates/bill
electricity
FOOD!
council Tax Mad
phone bill/rental (if you get a phone in)
insurance

make sure you's take these into acount before you and your mates rent a place that you can afford the rent on but nothing else!

all the best bud

er in a flat with 2 mates Very Happy

although I got a good deal and only pay for food, if I did pay a third of all bills then the total would be;

£200 rent
£70ish food
£25 council tax
£8ish phone
£10 electric
no gas so no bill
£7ish water
property insurance still to be sorted

so £150 bills for me and I live in Kent mate. I don't even wanna know how much you'd pay in London Confused

And remember I've omitted petrol costs, going out money etc etc

see? thats how expensive it *really* is.....

I think, Im might just be able to squeeze it, but that means Id have too quie drinking & drinking (can be good if I decide to become superfit) and to be even more serious i could trade my bike in for a pushbike if i lived closer enough to work.

I think if i lived a social life like this and worked 7 days a week, i think i would get a tad bit depressed but after a year of peristance I know things would pick up and I could start to enjoy life again!
