Are the quoted times to be taken with a pinch of salt?

Quote:
0-10mph 0.7sec
0-20mph 1.3sec
0-30mph 2.0sec
0-40mph 3.1sec
0-50mph 4.6sec
0-60mph 6.4sec
0-70mph 8.9sec
0-80mph 12.6sec
0-90mph 18.7sec
0-94mph 25.1sec

Also, are the yearly models going to affect this... is a 2005 model going to be quicker than a 2002 model, etc...

What are more realistic figures, and what extras/uprated parts make a difference?

Just looking for some final info before i take the plunge.

Cheers Smile

Those figures will be based on the hardest launch possible. I.e all your weight over the front, high revs, then dump the clutch so that the front just goes light without wheelying.

But i wouldn't say they were unreasonable.

Hi

Those figures are within the bounds of possibility, but probably better than most people would manage.

Generally the newer the model of RS125 the slower it will be. Those are probably for an early one with the larger carb.

All the best

Keith
