Ello

Whats the best paddock stand for lowest price, & whats the diffrence in the more exspenive ones to cheap one? Are they easy to put on the stand without dropping it?
& also will i need any tools? I think it will come in handy as i need to set up this gear change thing & rear wheel has to be off the floor.

Much Thanks.

as far as i can tell there all the same, they all do thte same job, some might be stronger then others but the one i bought off ebay was brand new cost £15 and you build it up urself, very easy and it works a treat on my bandit very east to use aswell just put the bike on its side stand then from the back holding the strap on the seat pull the bike upright and slip the stand in under the swingarm and then up it goes

Depends what bike its for, a cheap one may collapse under the weight of a big bike. But an expensive one will be OTT for a 50. Wink

There are quite a few people that have had the cheap one's collapse.

£30-£40 should get you one that will last years.

Cheap ones are a lot more likely to start to turn in sideways, especially after being used a few times.

Ideally go for a one piece one or one where the vertical bits can not be turned sideways.
